Lesson 1: Basic English Grammar
In this lesson, we will cover basic English grammar rules such as sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, and use of articles.
1) Sentence structure: In English, a sentence should have a subject and a predicate. The subject should be a noun or a pronoun, and the predicate should be a verb that describes the action or state of being.
Example: She ate breakfast.
2) Subject-verb agreement: In a sentence, the subject and the verb should agree in number. If the subject is singular, the verb should be singular too. If the subject is plural, the verb should be plural too.
Example: He rides a bike. They ride bikes.
3) Use of articles: In English, there are two types of articles: definite and indefinite. The definite article 'the' is used before a specific noun, and the indefinite article 'a/an' is used before a noun that is not specific.
Example: The book is on the table. A cat is running on the street.
Practice:
1) Write a sentence with correct sentence structure.
2) Rewrite the following sentence with correct subject-verb agreement: They talks to their friends.
3) Use the correct article in the following sentence: ___ apple is on ___ table.
Lesson 2: Vocabulary Building
In this lesson, we will focus on increasing your vocabulary to help you communicate effectively and confidently.
1) Learning new words: Make a list of new words that you come across and learn their meanings. Use them in sentences to remember them better.
2) Word families: Some words have related words that have similar meanings. Learn these groups of words to increase your vocabulary.
Example: happy, happiness, happily, unhappy, unhappiness.
3) Context clues: Use the context of a sentence to understand the meaning of a word you don't know. Look for clues such as synonyms, antonyms, and examples.
Practice:
1) Choose a new word from a book or article, and write down its definition and use it in a sentence.
2) Make a list of words related to the word 'heat.'
3) Guess the meaning of the following words using context clues: formidable, eradicate, benevolent.
Lesson 3: Conversation Skills

1) Greetings: Use formal or informal greetings depending on the situation. Common greetings include 'hello,' 'hi,' 'hey,' and 'good morning/afternoon/evening.'
2) Introductions: Introduce yourself by saying your name and asking for the other person's name. Follow up with a question such as 'What do you do?' or 'Where are you from?'
