At Boys & Girls Clubs of SENEGAL, we’re committed to building a society where every young person can easily realize their potential and achieve their goals. We believe that providing children a nurturing environment is essential to their overall development.
Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders, and through personalized attention and guidance we are essentially providing them with all the resources they need to thrive as leaders in years to come.

We have diverse programs thoughtfully designed to help members reach their full potential. We have specific programs and activities tailored to kids ranging from ten (10) to twelve (12) years old, and from thirteen (13) and above. BGCSN also partners with organizations to deliver other opportunities to the youth in the US and in Senegal.

Programs are modeled after BGCA and technical assistance in all areas is provided by the World Federation of Youth Clubs

09. Emergency Talibe Shelter (ETS) for forced child beggars or Talibe

10. Discovering Senegal: This program gives opportunities to US citizen to travel to Senegal and discover Senegal.


Age 13+
Boys & Girls Clubs of Senegal’s English as a Second Language learning programs will provide the Senegalese youth the ability to read, write, and speak English and comprehend the spoken language.

High School graduates admitted to the preparation program for entry into Caltech  and MIT graduate programs will be familiarized with the Educational Testing Service (TOEFL) and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).


All Age
The Computer Science Pathway is designed to guide members through a series of increasingly challenging activities, including: Hour of Code: Youth are exposed to computer science through accessible, drag and drop coding and games.
CS Unplugged: Youth gain a conceptual understanding of computer science through low-tech group activities.
App Lab: Youth work in teams to design, develop and present original ideas for Apps.


Age 13+
diplomas2Degrees (d2D), a college readiness program, guides Club members as they work toward high school graduation and prepare for post-secondary education and career success. d2D helps teens develop
both short- and long-term goals, while familiarizing
them post-secondary education through experiences like college tours. It also assists youth in securing financial aid and fosters supportive relationships with adults who can provide support throughout the college experience.


Age 15+
CareerLaunch prepares teens for our workforce.
CareerLaunch encourages Club members to assess their skills and interests, explore careers, make sound educational decisions and prepare to join our nation’s work force. Club staff or volunteers help teens build their job-search skills and job readiness by using the CareerLaunch Facilitator Guide and working with teens individually or in small groups. The CareerLaunch programs provides mentoring, TVET programs, and apprenticeship opportunities


All Ages
Youth of the Year is Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s premier recognition program. It is a leadership development and recognition program for Club members, who show exemplary service to the Club and the community. Youth of the Year fosters a new generation of leaders, fully prepared to live and lead in a diverse, global and integrated world economy. Boys and Girls Clubs of Senegal’s club members learn the basic skills of public speaking and debate, empowering them to positively influence their peers and their communities, develop self-esteem and appreciate cultural differences.


All Senegalese Immigrants
This program offers technical support and assistance to Senegalese immigrants and families who entered the United States of America legally.

Age 13 and above
This year-round program encourages artistic expression among Club members ages 13 and above through drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media and sculpture. A panel of distinguished judges selects works for inclusion in the National Fine Arts Exhibit, which is displayed the ensuing year at BGCA events, including the annual National Conference.


Age 6-21
ALL STARS is an organized league sports and recreation program offering basketball and soccer for youth ages 6-21 yrs. ALL STARS aims to increase opportunities for physical activity, social interaction and recognition through high-quality structured sports programming.


Million Members, Million Hours of Service gets youth engaged in their communities through inspiring projects that foster philanthropy and leadership.

This program also targets forced child begging issue in Senegal by  establishing a child protection committee (CPC) which investigates and notifies the police and/ or  Human Rights Organizations of cases of suspected talibé abuse, forced begging or neglect.

An Emergency Talibe Shelter (ETS) is also being constructed to rescue forced child beggars.
