How to change transfer pin on Ecobank

Ecobank is a pan-African commercial bank that provides financial services to its customers in Africa. One of the security features that Ecobank has put in place to protect its customers is the use of a transfer PIN. A transfer PIN is a four-digit code that is required for any transaction on Ecobank’s platform. The transfer PIN is a secure way to protect your account from unauthorized access and ensures that only you can authorize transactions from your account. Step 1: Log in to your Ecobank Mobile App How to change transfer pin on Ecobank

The first step in changing your transfer PIN on Ecobank is to log in to your Ecobank mobile app. If you do not have the Ecobank mobile app, you can download it from the App Store or Google Play Store. Once you have downloaded the app, you can log in using your Ecobank account number and your password.

After clicking on ‘Security’, you will be taken to a new screen. From this screen, click on ‘Change PIN’. The ‘Change PIN’ option is usually located at the bottom of the screen.

Step 5: Enter your Old PIN

Once you click on ‘Change PIN’, you will be prompted to enter your old PIN. This is the four-digit code that you have been using to authorize transactions on your Ecobank account. Enter your old PIN and click ‘Continue’.

Step 6: Enter your New PIN

After entering your old PIN, you will be prompted to enter your new PIN. This is the four-digit code that you want to use to authorize transactions on your Ecobank account. Enter your new PIN and click ‘Continue’.

Step 7: Confirm your New PIN

After entering your new PIN, you will be prompted to confirm your new PIN. This is to ensure that you have entered the correct PIN and to avoid any mistakes. Re-enter your new PIN and click ‘Continue’.

Step 4: Enter your Old PIN

Once you have selected the ‘Change Transfer PIN’ option, you will be prompted to enter your old transfer PIN. This is the four-digit code that you have been using to authorize transactions on your Ecobank account. Enter your old transfer PIN and press ‘Send’.

After entering your old transfer PIN, you will be prompted to enter your new transfer PIN. This is the four-digit code that you want to use to authorize transactions on your Ecobank account. Enter your new transfer PIN and press ‘Send’.
