A non-governmental organisation, Glorious Child Of Hope Foundation, has presented 350 pupils drawn from two public schools in Ile-Ife, Osun state, with writing materials called Edukits.
The items were presented to the beneficiaries during visits to the School of Science and Saint Peter African Church Grammar School both in Ile-Ife by the Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Adetola Bamidele.
Bamidele, who is also the country leader for Good Deeds Day Nigeria, while addressing the pupils on a topic, ‘Learning guide for greatness,’ stated that to be great students, young learners must imbibe the technique of learning.
He added pupils must develop listening ability, reading curiously, critical thinking, questioning fearlessly and taking adequate notes.
Also during the visits, certificates were presented to the pupils, while Good Deed Day School Club was inaugurated in the schools.
