JOHANNESBURG – Over 23 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in South Africa.
That translates to roughly 32 percent of adults that are fully vaccinated.

“That’s about 12.7 million people fully vaccinated, which is 32 percent of adults [that] are fully vaccinated at the moment,” Crisp said.
“That’s way lower than we would like it to be but the good news is that people over the age of 60, we’ve crossed the 55 percent threshold of totally vaccinated and quite a lot higher than that.”
