JOHANNESBURG – The State Security Agency has rubbished claims that ANC MP Xiaomei Havard has allegedly been sharing classified information about South Africa with the Chinese Communist Party.
News24 reporting on a leaked intelligence report that raised concerns over the Chinese-born South African businesswoman’s close links to China, and its impact on SA’s national security.

The State Security Agency has refuted these claims, condemning the portrayal of the Chinese government as hostile to South Africa’s national security.
Deputy Minister Zizi Kodwa distanced the agency from what he calls malicious falsehoods designed to discredit them.
